lovely photo - but can you tell what flower that is?

I'm not certain, but it could have been ivy-leaved toadflax, which blossoms around this time, has those colour flowers and often covers walls here. It has an (as far as I know) unique way of propagating -- instead of spreading its seeds through wind, water or animals, it reaches a long tendril to the next crevice and plants its own seeds itself.
